Social Transformation with Metrocable and Comuna 13
Social Transformation with Metrocable and Comuna 13
This tour allows us to reconstruct the history of Medellin in the 80s where a wave of violence was experienced that hit the city. We will begin with our visit to the Inflection Memorial Park, previously located Pablo Escobar's Monaco Building, where the victims are commemorated. and then we will know the story told from the Casa de la Memoria Museum.
We ended up visiting one of the communes hardest hit by violence, Comuna 13, an icon of innovation and culture, which teaches us how we can transform violence into art. We will visit a Foundation to see the process of the transformation of the place and the support to the children of the zone.
