Mercato Trionfale
We will visit the oldest market in Rome and one of the biggest in Italy and Europe. It has more than 200 stalls and offers a variety of typical Italian agricultural products made by local farmers.

Prati is an elegant and authentic district of Rome with residential buildings, high-quality restaurants and some historic monuments.

Borgo is another historic neighbourhood of Rome stretching between the banks of the River Tiber to Vatican City. It is home to some prominent attractions, including Castel Sant’Angelo.

We will continue our tour walking along the Vatican walls. Here you will hear about the history and architecture of this impressive construction and see some interesting attractions, including Porta Sant’Anna and 16th century Porta Angelica, the latter was the main access route for the pilgrims arriving to Rome in the past.

Rome’s hidden gem, Passetto di Borgo is an elevated passage that links the Vatican City with the Castel Sant'Angelo. It was built in 1277 by Pope Nicholas III and served at least two times as an escape route for Popes in danger.
