Stay the night at Valladolid in a colonial hotel in the city square then explore the Yucatan Peninsula and Quintana Roo first The Archaeological wonder of Chichen Itza a modern world wonder and capital of a great civilization then Ek Balam the city of the Black Jaguar. Merida the capital city of the Yucatan state also known as the white city, Uxmal the city three times built with its magnificent mayan baroque style architecture and we visit a Beautiful hidden Cenote of crystalline waters.

Las Coloradas
We stop to view the pink lakes to take photos and salt mines where flamingos nest.

Rio Lagartos Biosphere to catch a boat and see the diverse species of birds like Herons, fishing Eagle, pelicans and of course the flamingos. Also along the way we may see other inhabitants of the coastal ecosystem within the mangrove forests such as the mighty crocodiles and Raccoons. We arrive at the world famous Coloradas or “magenta waters” these are pink lakes that cover the landscape and contrast beautifully with the blue skies. The amazing pink color of these lakes is due to red-colored algae, plankton, and brine shrimp that thrive in the salty environment and the flamingos are pink because they eat these pink shrimp.

Day 2: Ek Balam - Chichen Itza - Merida

In the morning at the scheduled time (08:30 am) pick up at your hotel to enjoy a full day tour through the most important archaeological sites of the peninsula. The first stop will be in the archaeological zone of Ek Balam (“Star Jaguar or Dark Jaguar” in Maya), with wonderful architecture including “The Acropolis”, which contains the tomb of the ruler Ukit Kan Le’k Tok

Day 4: Coba - Tulum

Meeting with our guide to go to Coba (“Water with moss or chopped water” in Maya), located next to four natural lakes, highlights a pyramid known as “The Nohoch Mul” the big is the tallest temple in the Yucatan Peninsula at 42 meters high with spectacular views from the top.
