Day 1: Cairo, arrival

Upon arrival at the airport, our representative will meet and help you through passport control formalities. Then, in a private air-conditioned car, you will be taken to your hotel.

Day 2: Best of Cairo

Stop At: Pyramids of Giza, Al Haram Str., Giza 12611 Egypt
The guide will provide you with all the history of the area, the 9 pyramids of the kings, queens, and princesses, the sphinx, and the valley temple of mummification. You will have enough time for photography, and extra options such as entering one of the pyramids, visiting the sun boat museum, or riding a camel.

Stop At: The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, Midan El Tahrir Geographical Society Building, Cairo 11511 Egypt
The museum was opened in 1901. It houses thousands of artifacts. You will be overwhelmed by what you see around you: statues, golden treasures, tools, royal mummies, animal mummies, and much more. Although, you need weeks to cover everything in this huge building, however, your guide will explain with passion the highlight.

Stop At: Khan Al-Khalili, Cairo Egypt
Enjoy free time to go and browse here and there. Then, enjoy some free time at Khan El Khalili, the biggest market in Cairo, and try a local drink at El Fishawy, the oldest coffee shop in Cairo.

Day 3: Best of Alexandria

Stop At: Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, Kom Al Shokafa, Alexandria 21599 Egypt
Your first stop in this historic city is the catacombs of Kom ash-Shuqqafa, a Roman burial site whose family tomb reveals the merging of Egyptian and Roman art and architecture. Descend below ground to visit the Caracalla Hall.

Stop At: Pompey's Pillar, Al Karah WA at Toubageyah WA Kafr Al Ghates, Alexandria 21599 Egypt
Continue to Pompey's Pillar, an 82-feet (25-meter) granite column built to honor Emperor Diocletian, who freed the besieged city and brought food to its starving people.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Citadel of Qaitbay, Alexandria, As Sayalah Sharq, Qesm Al Gomrok, Alexandria Governorate 5321431, Egypt
The fort of Qaitbay was built in 1477 to protect the Eastern side of the city. The fort was built in the same location as the great lighthouse of Alexandria.)

Stop At: Bibliotheca Alexandrina, El Shatby, Alexandria 30100 Egypt
visit the famous Alexandria Library. In contrast to the ancient architecture found throughout Egypt, the Norwegian-designed building is a striking piece of modern design. A copy of every book published in the world is kept in the library, making it one of the great literary sites in the world.
