Amazing Views. Great for Photos. This lake has inspired artists for almost a century and continues to be popular with budding artists practicing their landscape skills. You will arrive at the lake early morning as this is the best time of the day to see this lake when the water is calm! The reflection of Crowfoot Mountain is amazing.

Peyto Lake should be top of the list of places you have to visit in the Rockies. The dazzling glacial blue water shimmers in the daytime and is surrounded by huge alpine mountains. Peyto Lake's first viewpoint is lovely and it tends to get extremely crowded so we will hik a bit further to Peyto Lake Overlook .
