Whether it be a scheduled boat tour or a private group tour, Kerry Aqua Terra offers adventures to individuals and groups from early March to late November. We provide our guests with a unique and exciting experience by interacting with our area’s amazing geographical and cultural delights dating back to the 6th century.
Our boat tours bring adventures to life through stories, folklore, and the natural landscape on visits to Caherciveen, Portmagee and Valentia Island located along the Ring of Kerry.

Valentia Lighthouse
Amazing sea view and stories of life in the lighthouse.
Beginish Island
Your guide will then take you back to the 6th & 7th centuries when the Skellig Monks found peace on Church Island to later be roamed by the Vikings that found a settlement on the neighbouring Beginish Island. ‘The Navigator’ will cruise past Beginish Island like the Vikings once did and here you will see the beautiful ruins of an old Viking home hidden on the eastern side of the island.
Ballycarbery Castle
View the castle from the river and hear of stories of war and battles at this amazing castle!
Cable Station Terrace
The Captain and crew will guide you through the history of Valentia Harbour of the Transatlantic Telegraph Cable that was laid from Valentia Harbour to the shores of Newfoundland, Canada in 1866.
Glanleam House & Subtropical Gardens
View the gardens and forestry from the sea and hear about the previous residents, the Knights of Kerry who called this beautiful house their home.
