Once you arrive, you will be taken on a guided tour (every hour between 9am and 4pm) beginning with a multi-sensory 3D movie detailing the site's history, followed by a detailed look at the living museum inside the Great House, stamp collection and exhibitions and surrounding picturesque landscape. There is also a gift shop and restaurant on site. Since its construction more than two centuries ago, Pedro St.
James was used in a variety of ways – as a cotton plantation, courthouse, jail, Government Assembly and restaurant – before the Cayman Islands government purchased the property in 1996 and restored it to its 18th-century grandeur.
