The tour starts early preferably 6.30am in the morning from Kampala or Entebbe to avoid the traffic jam. You will drive through tea plantations, sugar plantations and colorful roadside fruit and vegetable markets and several Ugandans selling roasted meat, plantain as a quick snack for travellers in buses and taxis. Our first stop over at Sezibwa falls a great spot for bird lovers and a Buganda cultural site with folk stories, beautiful scenery, traditional healers and lastly the water falls that has a story. This stopover will give you a glimpse into the traditional beliefs of Buganda kingdom and great pictures from the scenery and landscape

Mabira Forest

Mabira Uganda

The guide will lead you through one of the many forest trails where you will take a hike through the forest learning about the different trees species and how people lived and survived in the forest. You Our next stop will be Mabira forest the largest rain forest just like the Sezibwa falls, a local will encounter different bird species, beautiful butterflies and red-tailed monkeys jumping from one tree to another.

We will enjoy a boat ride to the source of River Nile at the point where the Nile starts its 4000 mile journey to the Mediterranean Sea traversing various countries along the way. The boat rides takes between thirty minutes and an hour depending on the available time.
