It is possible to go rafting in a town 120 kilometres from Rio. As well as being very enjoyable the experience is also an excellent opportunity for some exercise.The length of the course is 7 km, and the rapids which range from levels II-III. Furthermore, the vegetation surrounding the river is a example of Atlantic rainforest, which has been extremely well preserved and offers the opportunity for observing various species of tropical animals and birds.
