Get away from the tourist trap, enjoy the local and quirky atmosphere and sample some of Wellington’s best cocktail creations. In this guided 2.5 hours walking tour, you will be guided through the popular entertainment areas, soaking in the city’s vibrant personality, famous for its street art food, and drinks culture. You will hear about the history of the bars and meet the master mixologists at each location through this fun, informal yet informative drinking tour.

By the end of the tour, you will learn about the best watering holes in town with plenty of time (and local knowledge) to continue with the fun on a night out.

• Not wheelchair accessible
• Minimum age is 18 years
• Minimum numbers apply. 2 to 8
• There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements; in the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
• A minimum of two people per booking is required
• Near public transportation
• No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
• Most travelers can participate
• We will be walking between cocktail Bars to take in the atmosphere and sample cocktails. It is advised to wear comfortable footwear and weather appropriate clothing.
• Hand sanitizer available to travelers and staff
• Social distancing enforced throughout experience
• Guides required to regularly wash hands
• Operating in the COVID-19 Pandemic, Food and Spice Odyssey and Staff will be adhering to the New Zealand Government Guidelines for the safety of their staff and guests.
• This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund
• This tour/activity will have a maximum of 8 travelers
• Confirmation will be received at time of booking
