An expert will present you in details of the process of production of the flowering plant, growing, harvesting, stem washing, extracting the fibers, spinning the yarn, dying and weaving the fabric. The Lotus Farm is a unique fair trade textile workshop in the world which manufactures lotus textiles while supporting vulnerable women. The textile is the most economical fabric in the world as it does not require any petrol, gas, electricity or any chemicals during all the process.
Following a circular economy, the process uses a waste-lotus stem- and creates a new waste that is then transformed into a recycled paper. Indeed, you will also find that the lotus plant is used for its best value (lotus tea, lotus incense, lotus balm, lotus seeds mala necklace, recycled paper ...).
