Cenote Azul
What is special about Cenote Azul is the fact it is open, meaning not in a cave and it is more shallow in places then other cenotes. This makes it good for kids because there are places to stand in the water. There are deeper parts where you can swim and even a cliff jump of about 15 feet (5 meters). The cenote is “L’ shaped and you can find quiet corners to relax in.

Just outside are two ‘miradors,’ or crow’s nests. These lookouts perch on the beach and have great panoramic views of the bay and sunsets. All sorts of interesting details like the miradors can be found throughout our La Buena Vida hangout.
2 hoursAkumal Beach
Akumal Beach, a natural protected area, where you’ll snorkel with sea turtles. Your professional guide will be there to teach you about the ecosystem the sea turtles live in. This fun snorkeling adventure (50 min swimming) is perfect for the whole family!
