Your 90 minute narrated walking tour will give you the chance to *Learn about the Erie Canal and the construction of the engineering marvel known as the Flight of Five Locks. *Hear about the men who labored to lock through over 1,000 boats a year. *Consider what life was like in the 1800's in the locks district.
*Marvel at the life-size bronze sculptures of our 19th Century Lockport Lock Tenders. *Be part of a team to open the 5 ton lock gates!Tours are offered weekdays, Monday through Friday and start at 11 am. Social distancing standards will be adhered to and face masks will be provided.
