The Pompeii and Herculaneum tour starts in Naples and allows you to visit two ancient and important cities in the Campania region. In Pompeii, you will walk along the ancient streets and admire the well-preserved houses, temples and frescoes that bring the Roman era to life. In Herculaneum, you'll admire Roman villas, mosaics and statues and stroll through the city's alleys.
The Villa of the Papyri, one of the largest and most luxurious villas of the Roman era, will be the most exciting part of the visit. Here, you will be able to walk through its gardens and admire its frescoes and statues, having the feeling of having entered another era. If you don't have an experienced guide with you, I recommend doing some research before the tour to learn more about the history and culture of the Roman era.
