Devils Tower National Monument
First things first! We'll head directly to Devil's Tower, also known as Bear Lodge. Here we'll hike around the tower and have moments to see the spectacular views from the trail of not only the tower but the valley surrounding it.
1 hour 30 minutesSpearfish Canyon Scenic Byway
This winding road takes us through some of the most beautiful scenery in the Northern Black Hills. Along the way we'll stop and have a picnic lunch.
Roughlock Falls State Nature Area
We'll trek about a mile down a boardwalk to the crystal clear falls. Wildflowers and birds chirp along the way while the anticipation builds to see the famous waterfall.
1 hourSpearfish Falls
My favorite of all the waterfalls is just down a trail near Roughlock. The water makes its voice heard before revealing its beauty.
30 minutesDeadwood
A drive into Deadwood to learn about the wild west characters of the 1876 Gold Rush. We'll have time to walk around and stop in some of the interesting places along the way.
