Depending on whether you prefer red or white wine, with bubbles or without, we will design a tour that meets your needs. From bold Shiraz, to mellow Merlots and perfect Pinots.We also offer tastings of the unique South African cultivar The Pinotage. The Pinotage is a red wine grape that is South Africa's signature variety.
It was bred here in 1925 as a cross between Pinot noir and Cinsaut grape and the signature Pinotage vintages are prolific in the Stellenbosch area.

Spier Wine Farm
Join us for a wine tasting in our airy Tasting Room or a food platter and glass of wine on our shady stoep which has gorgeous mountain and dam views. Settle in and admire the iconic Heath Nash chandelier - made from 334 recycled Spier wine bottles and weighing 370kgs - which hangs above the tasting counter. You can either enjoy a set wine tasting (see the list below), with or without a food pairing, or order whatever you like with an olive, cheese or cured meat board.
