Ravenna, the last refuge of Dante, father of the Italian language, is the city that hosts his Tomb, the starting point of our tour through which we will retrace together the traces left by the Supreme Poet in the Ravenna of the fourteenth century and for all the years in come. An opportunity to discover the vicissitudes that characterized the last years of the Supreme Poet, exile, life in the city, death and the daring fight for the remains, as well as the interventions to enhance the tomb over the centuries.

It is here that in the shadow of a large oak planted by Giosuè Carducci in the early 1900s stands the Tomb of Dante Alighieri, the last resting place of the Supreme Poet.
