This is the magical moment you officially enter the grand Scottish Highlands and gain a sense of what the rugged mountainous landscape is really like.

You’ll then get out for a beautiful short hike along Scotland premier walking route, the West Highland Way as we make our way towards a lovely small lochan (small lake). It’s believed King Robert the Bruce threw his sword in this lochan to lighten his load, as he was trying to escape the onslaught from a surprise ambush by the MacDougal’s of Lorne. This battle is known as the Battle of Dail Righ and the battle ground is not far from where you’ll be walking.
