This tour is a fun, fully customizable boat adventure discovering the beautiful Taboga island and its surroundings (at eight nautical miles from the City). It departs directly from Panama City. Several picturesque islets surround Taboga with dense vegetation and a fantastic waterfall that crashes directly into the Ocean.
The island has lovely swimming beaches, snorkel, and docking facilities to step into the friendly local fisherman town. If you would like a fishing-oriented day, depart early in the morning. Fishing around the Bay of Panama and the island of Taboga, the species that can be captured are Dorado (Mahi Mahi), Yellowtail Tuna, Spanish mackerel, Tuna Bonito, and Jack Crevalle, among others, as well as bottom species such as snapper, Pargo, Grouper, and Amberjack.

Panama Bay
You will be able to cruise around Panama Bay and enjoy the city's skyline, the Canal anchorage and will see the Panama Canal's operations from the Pacific side. There's also the possibility to do some inshore fishing in the Bay's area, targeting several species throughout the year.

There's also the possibility of some action-packed deepsea fishing in the famous Twenty-fathom area, between Taboga island and the Pearl Islands archipelago.

As private charters go, you get to decide whether you'll like to chill on the beach (Taboga has three great beaches), do some snorkeling or explore its picturesque town. Taboga has the second oldest church on the continent and is a historical and cultural landmark. There are also some great seafood restaurants to have lunch. If you prefer to skip the visit and focus your day on fishing, you can do that as well!
