This tour has been arranged to give travelers a local experience that connects them to the Ghanaian culture and people. It also educates travelers on the lives of important people like Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and WEB Dubois and also gives travelers a feel of some of the oldest towns of Accra.

W.E.B. DuBois Center
The center is named after William Edward Burghardt Du Bois who was an African-American civil rights activist and later became a citizen of Ghana in the 1960s. He is often known as the ‘Father of Pan-Africanism’. The centre is where he once lived with his wife and where they are now buried. It houses his personal library, a small museum with a handful of personal effects such as his graduation robes. The mausoleum is surrounded by Asante stools, a seminar room, a restaurant, a gallery, an amphitheater and a research centre for Pan-African history and culture.

It was commissioned to honour the visit of Queen Elizabeth II. The roundabout before the square contains in the center, the Black Star Gate also known as the Black Star Monument which was built in 1961.
20 minutesCenter for National Culture
Travelers can browse through the art center which is a market for made in Ghana products ranging from clothes to bags to accessories, art works and wooden sculptures. Travelers can make purchase of items that catches their eye.
30 minutesKwame Nkrumah Memorial Park
This Memorial Park tells the history of the life of Dr. Nkrumah and his struggle for independence. It also contains personal belongings Dr. Nkrumah, his final burial place and that of his wife.
