Tourists come to Ourika Valley as part of organized daily trips from Marrakesh. The good period to visit the valley is between February and April, when almond and cherry orchards bloom and rivers of wildflowers flow on the green plains crossed by a large river descending from the high Atlas Mountains in Mandhar. It is amazing and breathtaking, and it is possible to move between the two banks of the river through the beautiful bridges that are decorated by nature with its beautiful colors.These wonderful journeys pass through the small Berber villages of the valley; Where visitors can see traditional Berber houses where their inhabitants display their products of beaded and Berber jewelry.
There are many popular restaurants and cafes in the valley that provide many necessary services for visitors, but it is sad that this great development and the abundance of cafes negatively affect the beauty of the valley and the scarcity of its plants.

Ourika Valley
While traveling along the Ourika valley you will enjoy beautiful landscapes, from walnuts, wiping willow and poplar trees, to its mountains and rocks varying in color from red to green. Ending the morning by a walk up to the waterfalls in the middle of the rocky Atlas Mountains. Lunch under walnut trees shade near the river, a visit to a Berber family for mint tea course, explore the traditional Berber kitchen and house and their medieval agricultural system… drive back to Marrakech.
