Rebkong is known as the Tibetan artist village throughout Tibet Plateau. On the boundless grassland you can take a picnic and see nomads milking and herding yaks. Labrang Monastery is one of the six major Tibetan monasteries of the Gelugpa order of Tibetan Buddhism.
Takstang Lamo is a rural Tibetan village, surrounded by snow capped peaks and rocky mountains; there are monasteries buildings and numerous possibilities for hikes and horse trekking. The tour continues to Zoige grassland to Tangkor Town, and is one of the most beautiful grasslands in Asia, Zoige grassland to experience real Tibetan nomads culture and daily life. There is chance to camp with local Tibetan nomads and help nomads milk yaks and collect yak dungs.

You will go from Xining to Shachung Monastery, which is located on a mountain top and has a great view of the Yellow River. Afterwards, we'll drive to Repkong. Repkong is home to 3 large Tibetan Buddhist monasteries and is famous across Tibet for its artists. You will see beautiful views driving along the Yellow River.

Once in Rebkong visit Shanggeshong Mago, oday well known as artists' village in Rebkong; they were established in the 15th18th centurices. Afterward, we will visit Rongwu monastery, the biggest monastery in Rebkong and home to more 400 monks today. Stay overnight in Rebkong.
