East Berlin is a true melting pot and we have created an itinerary that explores the foods, events, and people who have helped shape the artistic neighbourhood of Friedrichshain. From the traditional Döner Kebabs that have been a Berlin mainstay since the end of World War 2 to the introduction of new Middle Eastern dishes from the 2015 refugees, we discover 6 food stops that represent the rich tapestry of Berlin cuisine which sets it apart as an international gastronomic hub. We also pay homage to Germany's traditional specialities, including a rustic Flammkuchen and three different Beers.
