Trekking to the Church of the Gergeti Trinity located at an altitude of 2,170 m at the foot of Kazbek, right above the Stepantsminda.Built in the XIV century, the sanctity is the only cross-domed churchmonastery in the area of Hevi. On the way we will, visit the Ananuri fortress, on the shore of the lake Zhinvali.Ananuri - belonged to one of the strongest feudal clans of late medieval Georgia - Aragvi Eristavs.
The fortress belongs to the early feudal era, and served as an outpost of defense, blocking the road leading from the Daryal gorge to the Caucasian mountains.Full day excursion to the pearl of the Caucasus Mountains - Mount Kazbegi.
