The best way to ride in Florence and surrounding hills? With a vintage "motocarrozzetta" (motorcycle sidecar), no doubt. It's the only way to experience the Oltrarno area, Michelangelo square and terrace, San Miniato church and hills behind it, including Arcetri where Galileo Galilei spent his last years in Florence. Perfect to take videos and pictures of the hidden corners of the city and from the panoramic points. Much more comfortable and safe than a scooter, enjoying the breeze not being in a car or minivan! The best way to catch both sides of the city: it's old districts (i.e. San Niccolò, the bohemian one...) and the countryside landscape around it. Our personal suggestion is to book it for your first day in Florence, so to have a complete introduction to it... VERY IMPORTANT: please remember that we ride old vintage motorcycles sidecar and we might refuse bookings due to weight limit.

The Palazzo Vecchio is one of the essential wonders to visit in Florence. Symbol of the "people's power", that merchant and artisan class that became rich in the late Middle Ages, it's a building full of surprises thanks to the Medici family, who fully transformed the inside with statues, frescoes and even some secret corridors and chambers . Delight your sight and feelings by visiting this formidable piece of history! Together we’ll explore the fresh 1500s and discover why they contain Austrian landscapes; We’ll admire the magnificent “Salone del Cinquecento”, scene of the famous Tom Hanks’ movie “Inferno”, and understand all its several transformations. We'll also dive into the Medici's intrigues, a dynasty that changed global history, by visiting the family rooms, with highly significant artwork like the Giuditta and Oloferne, by Donatello, and Niccolò Macchiavelli's personal office. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore this jewel with a welcoming expert in the topic!

You’ll explore quiet streets, like Via Taddea, where Carlo Lorenzini, the author of Pinocchio, was born, and see Michelangelo’s Laurentian Library, his least-visited architectural work. Try a regional red at a wine bar, then hear legends of wine turning into blood at Cosimo Rosselli Chapel of the Sacrament. End at hidden local haunt Caffé Verrone for an espresso and a snack on a sun-dappled terrace. Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.
