With this tour you can discover every part of the famous Buda Castle district, those parts as well, that the sightseeing tours provided by Danube cruise companies can not - due to the limited time available for sightseeing. As an extra it also includes a guided visit to the Matthias church as well. This tour is meant to be a relaxed pace walking tour, where there is always time for a slice of strudel and coffee, or to spend time admiring the views of the city. --- Kindly note that the Castle bazaar is an all time favourite venue of the Hungarian government to host diplomatic events, in case of such we wont be able to cross the facility Also should there be a concert, or wedding in the Matthias church the venue remains closed for the public. --- Kindly note that the tour can be tailor made for you, excluding those parts covered by different sightseeing tours to make sure there are no overlaps. In that case we adjust our itinerary.

Atmosphere. We always meet as strangers and leave as friends. The nature. Our tour is possible to be made for anyone, but requires some basic knowledge of the area, our tour guide are going to help you to get the best nature experience. Closeness. The starting point of the tour is in the center, we only have to take a short bus-ride while our experienced tour guide is going to tell you a few words about the hike and the city of course. We enjoy meeting travelers. Meeting is always a cultural exchange. So we are excited to meet you as well!

This tour is a classical Budapest sightseeing program following the route of the Hungarian "guerilla" artist, Michael Kolodko's mini statues. It's a perfect program for first-time visitors because many of the statues are near to main attractions, but at the same time, it's a special experience, as others are located in the local neighborhoods. This walking tour is a real treasure hunt; while you look for the art pieces on the streets, you can admire beautiful attractions like the Chain bridge, and listen to the stories that the artist wants to tell us through his statues. The perfect combination: a bit of a general, a bit of the hidden gems.

Explore Buda Castle on a guided walking tour. Uncover rich Hungarian history through stories and legends; enjoy a slice of iconic Dobos Torta from the era of Empress Sisi, Hungary’s most famous queen. Enjoy a richly detailed historical walking tour paired with a taste of one of Hungary’s most iconic desserts—the beloved Dobos torta, still cherished by locals today. This is no ordinary cake: it features six layers of soft sponge, filled with rich chocolate buttercream, and finished with a signature caramel topping. As part of your experience, you’ll discover how this famous dessert became a favorite of Empress Sisi—often regarded as Hungary’s most iconic (and famously admired) queen who once used to reside at the very Buda Castle! This is a visit to the royal palace with a real royal treat therefore!

Budapest is a very popular filming location for Hollywood blockbusters. Our tour will take you to the locations of the iconic scenes of four movies (Gemini Man, Red Sparrow, Spy, and Die Hard), where you can take photos of yourself "on film and now." In addition, during the day, you will also see three famous locations (a building, a boulevard, and a square) that have been selected as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We will have lunch next to one of these after you have spent 2 pleasant hours in Budapest's most famous thermal bath, where Will Smith also visited during the filming of the Gemini Man scenes. The bath's outdoor and indoor pools and spa section, fed by a natural water source, provide excellent refreshments before a traditional Hungarian lunch. Passengers participating in any of our film tours will receive a free 1-year subscription to the RanXteR movie rating and ranking application, which is available on Google Play or the App Store.
