Itinerary

Day 1: Leh arrival and local sightseeing

Pass By: Leh, Leh, Leh District, Ladakh
Arrive at Kushok Bakula airport Leh situated at 3500m altitude. Meet our representative at the airport who will transfer you to your hotel in Leh city 3 to 4 km. On arrival, the hotel will welcome you with a warm drink. To allow your bodies to acclimatize to the high altitude, the first full day will be dedicated to rest. There will be an easy walk in the evening to show you Leh bazaar. Overnight in the Hotel.

Day 2: Around Sham valley

Pass By: Highway, Lamayuru 194106 India
After an early breakfast, set out for another day of fabulous sightseeing that begins with a scenic drive in the direction ofSham valley. Soon, you will find yourself mesmerised by the beauty of the moonscapes of Lamayuru, and the sheer majesty of its monastery. En route you can also choose to spend time at the amazing Alchi Monastery, a monastic complex with monuments and scriptures dating as far back as 10th Century. Likir monastery and the amazing Basgo castle.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra

Pass By: Nubra Valley, Nubra Valley, Leh District, Ladakh
Leh to Nubra Valley ( 125 KM / 5-6 Hrs )
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley (Known as the Valley of Flowers and the warmest region in Ladakh) via Khardung La pass. This road is considered to be the highest motorable road of the world. Enroute, admire the spectacular views of the never ending snow-capped mountain ranges around Khardung La Pass (18,390 feet). After spending some time at Khardung La, proceed to Nubra. After Hotel check-in, enjoy camel Safari in the evening. Stay overnight stay in Nubra.

Day 4: Around Nubra Turtuk

Pass By: Turtuk, Turtuk, Leh District, Ladakh
Explore Turtuk valley, on the way visit Diskit monastery, and Hunder Chamba
Explore Turtul valley, the famous Balti culture and its unique traditional architect, farming and old mosque of the 16th century.

Day 5: Nubra to Pangong

Pass By: Pangong Tso, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, India; Ladakh, , India;, Leh 194101 India
Nubra to Pangong via Shyok ( 165 KM / 06 Hrs )
We will start the day following the same route towards Leh till we reach Khalsar. From the Agyam bridge, we will take the left route which leads us to the villages of Shyok and Durbuk. The road after Shyok is good but very steep. After Durbuk, take left towards Tangtse and follow the traditional route. Drive further to Pangong Lake one of the largest and most beautiful natural brackish lakes in the Himalayas. Situated at 14000 ft, more than half of the lake is within Chinese Territory and only one third part lies in India. Explore the lake area, might catch some rare wildlife. Stay Overnight in Pangong.

Day 6: Pangong to Leh

Pass By: Changlang, Changlang, Changlang District, Arunachal Pradesh
Pangong Lake to Leh ( 155 KM / 05 Hrs )
Early morning enjoy the picturesque view of Sun rise on the lake. After breakfast drive back to Leh, take a short halt at Changla Pass to enjoy a cup of hot steaming tea. On the way visit Thiksay and Shey palace, Stay overnight in Leh.

Day 7: Transfer

Stop At: Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport, 4HV4+259, Leh, 194104
Post breakfast we transfer to Leh airport for onward journey
Duration: 1 hour
