Taj Mahal

It speaks volumes on the eternal love story of Shahjahan and Mumtaz Mahal. It took twenty two years to build the mausoleum. Further on, you will visit the Red fort.

A construction of red sand stones with double style massive walls, the fort was conquered by first Mughal Emperor Babar and by his son Humayun. Later on this Agra Fort was redesigned by Akbar the great in 1565 AD. The Red Fort of Agra as well of Delhi witnessed the rise and fall of Mughal Empire. From the third Mughal emperor Akbar the great to his grandson Shahjhan and fifth Mughal Emperor, all of them contributed in blend of Hindu and Persian architecture of the fort. Alluring palaces and elegant gardens were constructed. It was once a gilded prison for Shahjahan.
