Day 1 – From Marrakech to Dades Gorge
TIME PICK UP FROM MARRAKECH: At 8am.
Travel over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m) while enjoying superb views of the mountains and the Berber Villages on the way. Stop for lunch and tour in the World heritage site of Ait Ben haddou. (This famous kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films.) Pass through Ouarzazate and continue towards the Valley of Roses and the Dades valley, Skoura oasis with its authentic 17-century kasbah, the valley of a thousand Kasbahs and the Dades Gorge. Stay overnight at a hotel.
Day 2 – Dades Gorge to Merzouga
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to the Todra Gorge: a massive fault, rising to 300 m in a narrow valley thick studded with palmeries and Berber Villages. After lunch in the gorge, get transported further into the desert to Merzouga, stops along the great dunes of Erg Chebbi, where you will take a camel ride (about one hour and a half) to get to your Bivouac Tent.
Day 3 – 460 km: Merzouga to Marrakech
After seeing the sunrise in the desert. We go back on the camels to Merzouga after the breakfast and take a shower in Hotel. Then start our journey to Ouarzazate trough the Berber villages of the atlas mountains. ( Rissani, Alnif, Tazzarine, N’koube Agdz )we arrive at Ouarzazate we will visit the majestic Atlas Mountains. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass in Morocco. Tizi n Tichka 2260m high offering impressive views of valleys, mountains, and many Berber villages nearby. Arrive in evening marrakech.
