The Jantar Mantar is an equinoctial sundial, consisting of a gigantic triangular gnomon with the hypotenuse parallel to the Earth's axis. The instrument is intended to measure the time of day, correct to half a second and declination of the Sun and the other heavenly bodies.

Chand Baori (Step well)
Chand Baori is a step well situated in the village of Abhaneri. Chand Baori consists of 3,500 narrow steps over 13 stories. It extends approximately 30 m (100 ft) into the ground, making it one of the deepest and largest stepwells in India.
