Lake Vouliagmeni

Since ancient times, it has been known for its healing properties and is the only healing lake in Attica. You will be in front of a rare geological phenomenon that gives peace away from the noisy Athena. We will talk to you about the myths from the time of the second world war and the contemporary studies about its unique biodiversity.

Enjoy the superb route of Laimos Vouliagmenis where we will pass in front of the ancient temple of Apollo Zostiras and we will find ourselves at the cape where you will have the opportunity for enchanting panoramic photos. Ask your guide to show you the fantastic church built by the children of the orphanage, decorated with shells from the area.

We leave behind us the beautiful Vouliagmeni and drive for 25 minutes on the idyllic coastal road to the Temple of Sounios. A superb, calm route with dozens of small harbors and fantastic spots for photography. We will arrive at the unique Temple of Poseidon. A temple placed on top of the hill with a 360 degree view towards the Aegean. A magical experience that will be truly unforgettable. If time permits, we will stop at the ruined village with the white church overlooking the Temple of Poseidon for unique photos.

We have left Sounio behind and after 50 minutes of driving, we reach the center of Athens and its most historic neighborhood, Plaka below the Acropolis. Here, we'll take a quick tour and give you tips on the right spots to eat and drink.
