Kaitek Viajes
Very early we will leave Ushuaia, after breakfast, where, after the pick up from the hotels, we will begin to travel along National Route 3.
Tolhuin
We will take a short break to use toilets and then continue our march.
15 minutesCabo San Pablo Ruta Complementaria A
After bordering Lake Fagnano, we will continue on our way to cross paths with the access to the complementary route "A", to enter for more than 40 km towards the sea. We will thus arrive at Cabo San Pablo. This route winds through picturesque ranches and offers us incredible landscapes of hills, lenga forests, rivers and cliffs that reach the sea, and it is also very common to find herds of sheep, guanacos, foxes and condors.
45 minutesRío Ladrillero
After the snack and our walk, we will continue to our next attraction, the San Pablo Lighthouse (Depending on the tide conditions, the boat Desdemona could be visited first and then the walk to the lighthouse).
30 minutesEstacionamiento Senderos (Faro San Pablo)
We will reach the top of the cape through a path. Once at the top, there is the old leaning lighthouse, and in front of its shores, the rusty hull of the ship "Desdémona" ran aground there in the early 1980s, giving it a dose of mystery typical of the End of the World, and as an example of the past of shipwrecks and adventures that took place in the brave southern seas.
45 minutesCamping Miguel Y Silvia
Our local restaurant with a panoramic view of Barco Desdemona. You will feel at home, cared for by the owners themselves, in a warm atmosphere, and with fresh catch-of-the-day recipes.
1 hourEl Desdemona
Depending on the tide, we can make this visit before or after lunch. We will tour the outside of the ship, in its entirety, to appreciate its imposing silhouette that represents an icon for the region since 1985, when it ran aground after a journey that took it to the city of Ushuaia for the delivery of twenty thousand bags of cement. , with twenty crew members on board.
30 minutesEstancia Pirinaica
One of the main attractions of the day are the estancias located on Complementary Route A. We will visit the authentic Estancia Pirinaica. With its almost 100 years of Patagonian production, it has wonderful facilities, which we are going to discover. We are going to experience country life, shearing, as well as get to know work spaces such as carpentry, shearing sheds, ranch house and the forest and environment that the ranch has. We will then enjoy a snack in the ranch's own style, with regional products prepared locally.
