Discover historical landmarks such as The Tower of Markellos (built-in 1802) also known as "The Pink Tower". The Tower was housed in 1826 by Kapodistrias' government, he was the first governor of modern-day Greece. Discover the great impact he had on Aegina, as well as Greece. HE lived here until the Governor's Residence, known as the "Palace of Barbayannis" was built.
