Alma Temple
This walking tour begins at the Alma Temple. This temple has an interesting and controversial past. Built in the mid 1920s, the building remains a eerie reminder of the scandals of the past. Look for the letters, "KPOF" at the top of the building.

This building, with it 24 karat gold top, is the crown jewel of Denver. Stand and the 1 mile above sea level marker, and soak in a beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains. So much history.
5 minutesCivic Center Park
This beautiful park is the focal point of Mayor Robert Speer's "City Beautiful" campaign. Completed in 1908, It is the center of state and city government.

With over 70,000 works of art, the Denver Art museum, is the largest art museum, between Chicago and the west coast. See the "Big Sweep", otherwise known as the "Giant Dustpan and Broom".
3 minutesCELL - The Counterterrorism Education Learning Lab
This is an odd museum, at best. Although we don't go in, you will see one of the remaining pieces of the World Trade Center.

This stop is a chance to try some local flavor. This deli is one of the hidden gems of Denver, but the locals frequent this place. Sit down and get a snack. Their cookies are out of this world. Food and beverages are not included in the tour price.

This curved building is known in Denver to be one of the most beautiful civic buildings in the city. During the holidays, this beautiful structure, becomes the center place for viewing lights.
4 minutesUnited States Mint At Denver
The United States Mint, in Denver is one of 4 locations in the country. This location is the largest producer of coins in the world. We do not go into the Denver Mint.

The most historically significant home in Denver. We do not go into this house.

The Curry-Chucovich house is the oldest remaining residence in Denver. With its Victorian charm and its scandalous past, it makes for a great photo spot.
4 minutesDenver Firefighters Museum
Fire Station No. 1 is a favorite stop on this tour. We will take a moment to go inside, and grab a souvenir. Although you will see some antique fire trucks, we will not tour the entire museum. We do not go through the museum.
5 minutesThe Brown Palace Hotel and Spa
Built in 1902, this is the crown jewel of Denver. Be prepared for a feast for the eyes, with architecture, reminiscent of the Titanic. In most cases, we will take you inside this beauty. This hotel has hosted almost every president and dignitary, since Teddy Roosevelt.
7 minutesDenver Pavilions
This where all the action is. Shops, restaurants, bars, bowling alley, video games, and a movie theater, just to name a few.
3 minutes16th Street Mall
Closed to street traffic, this is the number one tourist attraction in Denver. With 1.7 miles of restaurants, bars, and shops, this is the perfect place to stay and enjoy the sites.

Saved from the wrecking ball, this Art Deco movie house is a local treasure.
