Any visitor to Jerusalem can do the same by visiting the grave site, inside the Catholic cemetery on the slopes of Mount Zion. The headstone, which reads in German “the unforgettable life saver of 1200 persecuted Jews,” is stacked high with rocks, a poignant reminder of the respect Schindler has inspired among Jews and non-Jews alike.
