The Untold Stories of Communist Bucharest

A communist tour of Bucharest is a must do because the capital has been the main scene for most of the main events related to communism. Here is where our last king was forced to abdicate, where the feared Secret Police was created, where Ceausescu decided to build his new city by demolishing the old one, but also where he had his first and his last speech. During a 3 hours walking tour you will find out all the details related to communism as a doctrine and how it shaped the life of people by slowly stripping them of pride, individuality, religion and cultural identity.
