The ideal place to explore the history of Brazil. With several churches and colonial structures, the pillory is the passion of tourists. The walk involves a lot of sun and some time, but we can go by car in the main squares, in case the person is of a certain age or has a mobility problem. Access to internal streets is not allowed with a private car. Finally, we will have a break for lunch to taste the delicious typical Bahian cuisine.

A beautiful square, full of historical monuments and what draws the most attention is the Cruz Caída. In that square there was a cathedral that was demolished to create the square. The Fallen Cross represents such an event.
