Experience the century-old artisanal way of harvesting coffee beans while visiting a real small family farm. This is a hands-on experience where you will pick, grind and roast your own beans and get to taste some of the smoothest coffee in the world! This tour guarantees red beans for picking year-round and it is hosted at a local family farm, not a large commercial coffee plantation.
Note: We began this tour back in 2013 when few people even knew that coffee plants were harvested in the nearby lands of Bogotá. Don't miss out!The tour lasts 8 to 9 hours from start to finish with 3 hours spent in coffee farms around the town of Silvania about 2.5 hours from our departure point.
