The first Paris walking tours devoted to women’s history and influence, Women of Paris offers tours that challenge the status quo by placing women at the heart of the Paris story. Since launching in 2016, Women of Paris has received lots of coverage in the French and international media and very positive reviews. This unique experience combines an exploration into women’s imprint on the literary world, as well as a bit of sugar and spice!
We'll take a stroll through Saint Germain-des-Prés walking in the footsteps of female writers, examining the development of the Women's Liberation Movement in France and making 4 stops along the way to taste and learn about a selection of award winning French sweets and cakes. After all, it wouldn't be Paris without something delicious to eat..!

Saint-Germain-des-Pres
Walking around Saint Germain-des-Prés in the footsteps of the female writers who found inspiration in Paris—Colette, George Sand, and more. On this literary walk, we illuminate the lives and achievements of these women, showing you where they lived or worked and how they helped to advance the Women's Liberation movement in France. Our stops will also be punctuated with opportunities to taste some of the best French desserts in a neighbourhood known for its many confectionery shops.
