Piața Unirii
Here you'll see the Communist Romania's answer to Paris's Avenue des Champs-Élysées. Longer and wider than Paris's boulevard this is the main artery in Bucharest. This is also the place of the famous Water Symphony Show.
Colțea Hospital
This is the oldest hospital in Bucharest built in 1704.
University Square
The Big Intersection - includes Coltei Church, The Ministry of Agriculture Palace, The Sutu Mansion (aka Museum of Bucharest), The National Theater and the University of Bucharest.
Bucharest City Hall
The building houses the cabinet of the mayor of Bucharest. It adopted the Neo-Romanian style and overlooks Cismigiu Gardens.
Kretzulescu Palace
The building was originally a residence for Cretulescu family. Became a museum in 1932 and since 1945 has served as the headquarters for different institutions. Now houses the UNESCO Center for Higher Education.
Ateneul Roman
A concert hall and an iconic building of Bucharest. Build in 1888 by public subscription. Is the home of the International Classical Music Festival "George Enescu"
