I created this tour for people that are here in Rio with limited amount of time but want to explore some unique places while breathing some fresh air and mingling with locals. We'll visit some unique buildings along the way.

Cinelandia
This is where our experience will start. We will meet at Starbucks. Cinelandia is an area where some of the prettiest buildings in Rio are located. Theatro Municipal, Biblioteca Nacional, Museu Nacional de Artes and the old Supremo Tribunal Federal buildings.
20 minutesPasseio Publico
Here we'll visit the first public park in Latin America.
30 minutesEscadaria Selaron
Here we'll visit the world famous Selaron Steps. This amazing art work measures 125 meters long with over 2000 tiles.
20 minutesCarioca Aqueduct
Here we'll see an engineering marvel from the the 1700's. This water aqueduct was used to supply water to the city and now is used by the Bondinho de Santa Teresa.
The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Sebastian
Here we'll visit a very unique and different Cathedral.
20 minutesPraca Tiradentes
A quick stop at Praça Tiradentes
Real Gabinete Portugues Da Leitura
A very unique library in the heart of Rio. Built in the 1800's.
20 minutesSao Francisco da Penitencia Church
One of the most beautiful churches. There is an 10 Reais fee to access the museum where the golden church is located.

Here we'll see how the city changed since its beginning.
Church of Our Lady of the Candelaria
The largest temple in the city.
Maua Square
Here we'll visit the outer part of the Museum of Tomorrow and make our way to parts of Little Africa where we'll visit pedra do sal and the statute of Mercedes Baptista.
