Due to various Himalayan glaciers flowing around this valley, the valley is also known as “the valley of glaciers”. Even though so many mountains can be seen from this valley, Langtang Lirung (7246) stands as the most dominating one. Along the trail, one can behold the beautiful and scenic view of pine forest, swift mountain streams, rugged rocks, snow-capped peaks, grassy meadows and various ancient Buddhist monasteries.
