Hiking, eating and relaxing in an 18th century Spa near Oviedo
This experience gives you the opportunity to be a real Oventense (person from Oviedo) for a day, by doing something they love: walking a Senda Verde (green route), relaxing in an old Spa and enjoying a typical Asturian lunch!You start in Parque de Invierno in the south of Oviedo. The route follows an old railway line, about which your guide tells you more during the hike. The car-free road starts in the park but soon leads through the Asturian countryside.
You walk through old train tunnels and cross Asturias' most important river, the Nalon. During your hike the guide tells you more about the natural surroundings, history, culture and gastronomy of Asturias. After 10k, you arrive at the Spa in Las Caldas where you spend 2.5 hours in its warm water and saunas.

Your guide leads you through this popular park and introduces you to Oviedo and its surroundings.
15 minutesSenda Verde Oviedo Fuso de la Reina
You follow an old train track from Oviedo to Las Caldas. Along the way, your guide tells you everything about the history of this place, the Asturian countryside and other ins and outs along the route.
2 hoursCastillo de Priorio
At the end of our walk, we pass the fairy-tale castle Priorio where your guide tells you about the history and legends attached to this place.
10 minutesLas Caldas
Our hike ends in the village Las Caldas. Here, you enter the Spa and enjoy a typical Asturian lunch, or 'Menu del Dia'.
