Historic Areas of Istanbul
Our Love is Istanbul Taste of Two Continents food tour will begin in Istanbul’s Old City. There, you'll meet your food expert guide to begin our tour in the heart of Eminönü, very close to Spice Market.
45 minutesMisir Carsisi (Spice Market)
Eat like a local with Local Sourced Turkish Breakfast. We will visit a breakfast market in the morning and enjoy an assortment of Turkish breakfast items, from Cheeses to Buffalo Cream, Hazelnut Paste, Local Honey, Olives, Dried Beef Pastrami and Simit along with traditional Turkish Tea & Menemen (Turkish Scrambled Eggs) at a local tea house. Learn from your food expert guide and hear some entertaining & interesting stories about our culture and daily life in Istanbul and all of Turkey. By the time you are finished, this might be your favorite breakfast ever :).

Afterwards, we will cross the gorgeous Bosphorus by a public ferry and explore the more modern and chic area of Kadıköy, on the Asian side. Kadıköy is home to some of the best local restaurants in Istanbul, frequently visited by a new generation of Turks who love to dine out, while savoring the flavors of their childhood.

Now here comes the fun part. We will visit and eat at many different restaurants & food shops in Kadıköy. Sip on freshly brewed Turkish coffee while enjoying locally-made baklava. Taste delicious dolma, tantuni, kokoreç as well as other favorite foods loved by the locals. Afterwards, we will finish our day with cool, refreshing flavors of the best Turkish dondurma (ice cream) in Moda.

Finally, our Love is Istanbul Taste of Two Continents tour will finish in Kadıköy Ferry Terminal. Your return ferry tickets will be included in your tour. Your food expert guide will help you catch the Eminönü ferry (back to the Spice Market) or Karaköy ferry.
