Stop At: Skradinski Buk Waterfall, Visovacko jezero, Krka National Park Croatia

The Skradinski buk waterfall, the longest waterfall on the Krka River, is one of the best known natural beauties of Croatia.
The cascades are composed of travertine barriers, islands, and lakes. They can be viewed throughout the entire year thanks to a network of paths and bridges that enable comfortable and safe walking. Several renovated water mills, rolling mills, and washing columns that for centuries have utilized the power of the river are also located at the Skradinski buk.

Stop At: Skradin, Skradin, Sibenik-Knin County, Dalmatia

The small town Skradin is situated at the entrance of the popular Krka National Park.
The small Mediterranean town, with its charming narrow paved streets and passages, rich history, stunning scenery, and quality cuisine and wine, is another one of Croatia’s little gems.
The surroundings of Skradin have been inhabited since the Neolithic period – the oldest settlement dates from the year 3500 B.C. The first data about the town of Skradin dates from the year 33 B.C.
It is not hard to see why Microsoft founder and billionaire Bill Gates named it his favorite vacation place in Forbes magazine.

In the small village of Plastovo, just 10 kilometers north of Skradin, right in the hinterland of Krka National Park, the Sladić family has been making wine for generations. This cherished winemaking tradition has been handed down from generation to generation.
In recent years, the younger generation of our family has taken our proud heritage into the 21st century with a touch of modern winemaking techniques. The results --- distinctive boutique wines that have won acclaim from wine lovers the world over.
When visiting Krka National Park, take a detour and spend a relaxing couple hours in the family winery. We will have 5 types of wine tasting with food pairing, one liqueur and olive oil.
Our guide and host will give you an informative tour through our wines, grapes and winyards, as well as influence of the micro climate and the character of the region.
