The Hidden Waterfalls Tour has this name for a good reason. An experience that is truly off the beaten track, we estimate that less than 300 travelers have ever visited this undiscovered part of El Salvador. Your tour guide will be clearing a path with his machete as he/she stops to teach you about the medicinal and edible plants that the local people still use to this day.

Concepcion de Ataco
Before our ride up in the back of a 4x4 truck, we start with a delicious buffet style breakfast in the colorful town of Concepcion de Ataco. This will make sure you have the energy for the adventure ahead!
30 minutesEl Imposible National Park
Next we will drive up through the mountains past some friendly local communities, with some amazing views of volcanos in both El Salvador and neighboring Guatemala.
45 minutesEl Imposible National Park
When we arrive at the starting point, you will be briefed by your guide on the unique experience you're about to have and then set off on a 45-60 minute downhill hike. Along the way, you will stop multiple times to learn about the medicinal and edible plants the park has to offer, adding a cultural and educational experience to this adventure. But pay attention as there may be a quiz with some prizes at the end of the tour!

We will stop for lunch at either one of the stunning viewpoints where you can relax and be present in this untouched part of the world.
3 hoursPerol Waterfall
Then we will begin an hour long hike(uphill) back to the starting point, where your transport will meet you to take you back to Ataco.
