Barossa Valley Deluxe: 30-Minute Helicopter Flight
Lifting off from the heli-pad in the Hoffnungsthal Valley, enjoy flying past Lyndoch before tracking along the western ridge of the Barossa to Historic Seppeltsfield. Here you will see vineyards contouring the rolling hills, palm tree studded roads. From there you will fly over Maggie Beer’s farm and the famous Penfold’s Winery before veering along the eastern side of Nuriootpa, around the Wolf Blass winery, and then the view of large limestone quarry near the town of Angaston.
A little further on you will get a bird’s eye view of one of the most beautiful horse racing studs in south Australia. As you descend into the valley towards Tanunda, your pilot will point out some of the historic buildings and settlements like Chateau Tanunda and Bethany.Beyond Tanunda is home of Jacobs Creek. From there we take you to the southern end of the Barossa, past Lyndoch, over the Barossa Goldfields and the Whispering Wall (the Barossa reservoir) before finally returning to the Hoffnungsthal Valley.
